The painting depicts Nyumannu, a Tjukurrpa or Dreaming site south-east of Kintore. It is a Dingo or Wild Dog Dreaming. It is Aaron's mother's and uncle's country. Nyumannu is a Dingo Dreaming place to the south east of Kintore – it is said that if you sleep in this place you will dream of the ancestral puppies. The story goes that if you remove one of the gleaming stones found at Nyuman, the ancestral puppies will haunt your dreams until you return it to the place it belongs. In this painting, the concentric circles of dots represent waterholes, filling up during the rainy season. The main waterhole is in the centre of the canvas, and the lines running from it represent underground waterflows between it and secondary waterholes. The vibrant purple, yellow, green and pink lines emanating from them represent the new growth that comes with the rain.
